Delicious, tender beef ideas are slowly marinated in inexperienced tea, ginger and onion. It’s a easy recipe that may be served with any aspect dish. Make it an evening of tea, and serve this with the oolong & stone fruit couscous from The Alexis Show!

Ingredients:

  • eight single-serve baggage inexperienced tea
  • 1 (1-inch) piece ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1 bunch inexperienced onions, inexperienced and white components, sliced
  • 2 kilos sirloin ideas, lower into eight items
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Lime wedges for garnish

 
Directions:

Bring 6 cups water to a boil in a pot. Once boiling, flip off warmth, let water cool for a minute or two, then add tea baggage and ginger. Cover and steep for about 10 minutes, then take away and discard tea baggage. Allow tea combination to chill fully, then add half of the inexperienced onions. Place sirloin ideas in a big plastic bag and add the tea marinade. Seal and refrigerate for no less than three hours or in a single day.

Remove sirloin ideas and discard marinade. Season throughout with salt and pepper. Heat half of the oil in a big skillet over medium excessive warmth. Add half of the sirloin ideas and prepare dinner, flipping as soon as, till cooked to desired doneness. Transfer to a big plate as executed, cowl, and preserve heat. Repeat course of with remaining oil and sirloin ideas.

Serve sirloin ideas sprinkled with the remaining inexperienced onions, with lime wedges on the aspect.
