Orange Tea-Infused Blueberry Crumb Cake recipe and picture from Phoebe’s Pure Food

The Crumbs


  • half cup gluten free flour
  • 1/four cup gluten free rolled oats
  • 1/four cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/Three cup sugar
  • 1/four cup coconut oil
  • 25 ounces white chocolate, damaged into items
  • 1/four teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch sea salt


Combine all of the crumbs elements along with your fingers or fork and place in fridge.

The Cake


  • half cup coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon free orange tea mix
  • 2 half cups gluten free pancake combine
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/four teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/Eight teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/Eight teaspoon cardamom
  • half teaspoon contemporary orange zest (or 1/four teaspoon dried)
  • 2/Three cups sugar
  • half cup applesauce
  • 3/four cup non-dairy milk
  • 1/four cup orange juice
  • 1 half teaspoons vanilla extract
  • half teaspoon rosewater
  • 1 cup contemporary or frozen blueberries


  1. Preheat the oven to 400˚F.
  2. Prepare an 8″ x 8″ baking dish or 9-inch deep-dish pie plate with coconut oil.
  3. In a small saucepan place the ½ cup coconut oil and tea. Melt over low warmth.
  4. Keep on low for 20 minutes.
  5. Carefully pressure out tea leaves.
  6. Remove from warmth.
  7. Whisk collectively the flour, baking powder, sea salt, cinnamon, cardamom, orange zest, and sugar.
  8. In a small bowl mix the applesauce, milk, orange juice, vanilla, rosewater, and coconut oil.
  9. Pour the moist elements into the dry and blend till simply mixed.
  10. Pour into greased baking dish, unfold blueberries and high with crumbs.
  11. Bake for 30 minutes, till golden and a toothpick inserted within the middle comes out clear.
