Rose & Keemun Black Tea Panna Cotta with Pistachios & Edible Flowers
An Italian cooked cream dessert is given a tea twist by infusing it with Rose & Keemun black tea. If you’ll be able to’t discover that exact mix, buy Keemun black tea and mix with dried rose petals or different dried flowers (notice: rose affords extra intense, perfumed floral taste compared to different dried flowers). The Chinese Keemun black tea affords toasty, sweetly smoky notes with light fruit flavors and an essence of refined darkish cocoa and brown sugar. The black tea is then scented with rose and blended with dried rose petals that add a candy, gentle and deeply floral high quality that sends your senses to a rose backyard. When infused within the cream, the panna cotta tastes of a faint bouquet of roses and toasty advanced depth from the Keemun black tea. If pistachios and edible flowers aren’t out there for garnish, go for almonds or hazelnuts and high with recent berries.
Makes 2 servings
- 1⁄2 cup cream
- 2 tablespoons Keemun rose black tea
- 1⁄2 cup complete milk
- 3⁄four teaspoon gelatin
- 1/8 cup wildflower honey
- 2 tablespoons pistachios, roughly chopped
- edible flowers for garnish
Bring cream to a simmer in a small pot over medium low warmth. Stir within the tea and let it infuse for 7 minutes. While the tea steeps, add milk to a different small pot off the warmth, sprinkle gelatin on high and let it bloom for no less than 5 minutes. When the tea has completed steeping, pressure the tea leaves. Now that the gelatin has bloomed, heat the milk over low warmth, stir within the honey for about 60 seconds or till utterly dissolved, however make sure that to not deliver the milk to a boil.
