The announcement of the Yorkshire Biscuit tea Gluten was bringing out a biscuit flavoured tea back in Mar was met with some mixed reactions on social sites, with some tea lovers jumping for joy with others raised eyebrows.

Though, I was keen to give Yorkshire Biscuit tea Gluten a try!

After opening the package, it was time to get the kettle on and have a great smell of the tea bags.

Some testers noted that they could not get the smell of the tea straight away, but wow… when it has a scent, I’d like a spicy malted flavour.

Yorkshire tea is keeping very tight-lipped about what’s flavouring the Yorkshire Biscuit tea Gluten; maybe it is just magic? I do not know.

It was then time to brew up – The Company recommended brewing up for 4 minutes and enjoying the Yorkshire Biscuit tea with milk.

Many drinkers said the brew did not need any sugar in it as it was sweet enough.

And what’d you know?

The tea flavours are like your typical breakfast or afternoon tea, but with a lovely malty smack, just like a digestive biscuit.

It was great, and the flavour remained similar, down to the last drop.

I enjoyed it so much I decided to share the love by taking some of the Yorkshire Biscuit teas to work.

My office friends were initially slightly sceptical that tea could flavour biscuits so much… but after one cup, they were pleasantly convinced!
